Blockstone Capital Founder and Managing Partner Carl Szantyr
Based in London, Carl Szantyr is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Blockstone Capital, an FCA-regulated digital asset investment and alternative asset management platform serving institutional investors, hedge funds, family offices, and multi-strategy investment mandates. He has extensive experience in corporate structuring, cross-border expansion, mergers and acquisitions, and capital raising across Asia, Europe, the US, and the Middle East.
Mr Szantyr specialises in digital asset investment management, institutional crypto solutions, blockchain investment strategies, cryptocurrency hedge funds, and alternative investments. He advises companies, investors, and emerging platforms on capital formation, strategic growth, fundraising, and blockchain-related investment opportunities. He also serves as Managing Partner of Blockstone Capital Partners LLP, where he works alongside the firm’s partners to develop and scale institutional-grade digital asset and alternative investment platforms focused on risk-adjusted returns and institutional infrastructure.
Before founding Blockstone Capital, Mr Szantyr spent more than a decade as Managing Partner at Goldstone Capital in Paris and Singapore. During this period, he helped establish one of France’s early platforms for derivatives and structured products, providing wealth managers and institutional clients with access to bespoke investment solutions, structured products, and institutional-grade pricing. He later focused on private equity investments across renewable energy, sustainability, and growth-stage businesses.
Mr Szantyr completed the joint Executive MBA-Global programme between Hong Kong University, London Business School and Columbia Business School, which is recognised as one of the world’s leading executive MBA programmes. He also works closely with international investors, allocators, and digital asset managers on portfolio construction, multi-manager investment strategies, and institutional adoption of blockchain-based financial infrastructure.
Alongside his responsibilities at Blockstone Capital, Mr Szantyr is a regular speaker at international digital asset, cryptocurrency, hedge fund, and alternative investment conferences, where he discusses institutional adoption, market structure, risk management, and the evolution of digital asset investment platforms.
